Working under homes in New Port Richey

New Port Richey is about 30 minutes from our Spring Hill office, around 18 miles by US 19.

Downtown runs along Main Street and Grand Boulevard, with the Pithlachascotee River right through it.

Census ACS 5-year estimates put mobile homes at 14.5 percent of New Port Richey housing.

The median home was built in 1980, so many floors and bellies have seen decades of Florida weather.

In Hurricane Helene, the New Port Richey gauge peaked 5.04 feet above normal high tide, per the NWS.

Storms like that are why tie-downs and moisture barriers matter to homes near the river.

The state lists TLC Anchor & Barrier among Florida-licensed mobile home installers.

  • Great experience with TLC. Chad was very thorough in explaining what needed to be done backed up with pictures . Based on what I heard from other people who needed a vapor barrier, I was expecting the estimate to be an exuberant cost… but to my surprise, it was a very fair estimate.

The crew arrived on the day it was scheduled. They had to leave some parts open due to some plumbing leaks that needed to be fixed. Once those were fixed, Chad came back and completed the job. Not only he so that, he also went out and got a new dryer vent for me and hooked it up with no additional cost.

A fine family company, that I highly recommend .
