The part nobody sees
What holds your home up is under the floor.
Under every manufactured home is a belly of wrap and insulation, a row of piers, steel straps and skirting.
When one piece fails, you feel it upstairs: a cold floor, a musty smell, a sticking door, a higher power bill.
We crawl under, take pictures and sit down with you to go over them.
Then you choose: patch the bad section, or rip it all out and start fresh.

In their own words
I called TLC, Chad came out and gave me an estimate. He took pictures of all the problem areas and gave me two options: I could do a patch job or I could go over the top. I chose to rip it all out and start over. It’s been 2 months now and I am so glad I chose TLC. I can breathe better, my power bill has gone down, my home stays cool now. What a difference. TLC thank you for being honest and explaining everything thoroughly.
JenniferGoogle review, a year agoRated 5 out of 5 Great company and very honest best rates around. Call for a vapor barrier free estimate and owner came out the next day to look at it. He took pictures to show me how looked and that I needed complete rip out and new insulation also. He sat down with me and went over everything that they were going to do and told me everything would be lifted off the ground and all ducts sealed and gave me a reasonable price. They were able to get started the next day and finished in two days. They were very professional made sure everything was cleaned up and put back the way it should be.…
Clyde M.Google review, 6 months agoRated 5 out of 5 We bought a new house and realized that the vapor barrier underneath was all ripped up after we closed on the house. Also had a very musty smell. We reached out to TLC Anchor and Barrier and they were more than willing to help . Chad and his team really came through their team was exceptional. The vapor barrier job was done, timely, professional, and affordable. They clean up to a tee I am so grateful I called TLC .Most importantly no more MUSTY SMELLS
Deven J.Google review, a year agoRated 5 out of 5 Called Chad at TLC after Milton and he was very responsive. I had a flood under my home. They did a great job, they removed the old damaged vapor barrier to let everything dry out a bit and was back within 10 days to complete the job. Great company!
FGoogle review, a year agoRated 5 out of 5 Chad and his team have done at least 5 vapor barrier projects for me over the last few years. I never want to crawl under a house to take a look and I know I can trust what they tell me to be true (and necessary). Excellent quality and competitive pricing plus they always arrive on schedule and leave the job site pristine. .
troutjenGoogle review, a year agoRated 5 out of 5 Amazing customer service and communication. Answers the phone and/or sends text message right away. Answers all questions you have and really know their stuff. They removed the old buffalo board (1966 for our home) which was included in their pricing. They arrived on time and did not stop until they finished (about 6 hours). They cleaned everything up and hauled the old board away. Very nice family business. Chad and his team are polite & respectful. Very honest and told us everything they checked & found was in good shape under the house.…

Linda M.Google review, a month agoRated 5 out of 5 We are so glad that we decided to hire this company. Chad is the owner and actually works with his family members and other employees on the job site.
They were all very professional and honest as we are new to manufactured home ownership. They explained everything as what was needed to be done and actually did a few extra things at no extra cost. They also are going to come back and inspect the new electical wiring and duct work I need done by a hvac company .
Thanks for doing a great job and your honesty.JamesGoogle review, 6 months agoRated 5 out of 5 This company did an amazing job installing new vapor barrier.Customer service is one of a kind. Explained everything and took pictures to make sure of the work being done. Skyler is very informative and I would highly recommend this company. Top notch!
Candice G.Google review, 6 months agoRated 5 out of 5 Great experience with TLC. Chad was very thorough in explaining what needed to be done backed up with pictures . Based on what I heard from other people who needed a vapor barrier, I was expecting the estimate to be an exuberant cost… but to my surprise, it was a very fair estimate.
The crew arrived on the day it was scheduled. They had to leave some parts open due to some plumbing leaks that needed to be fixed. Once those were fixed, Chad came back and completed the job. Not only he so that, he also went out and got a new dryer vent for me and hooked it up with no additional cost.
A fine family company, that I highly recommend .Sharon C.Google review, a year agoRated 5 out of 5

Questions
Questions we hear under the house.
Is the inspection really free?
Yes. We come out, go under the home, take photos and give you an estimate.
There is no charge for that visit.
Do you only work on mobile homes?
Almost all of our work is under manufactured and mobile homes.
That means the belly, insulation, skirting, piers and anchors. Call with any crawl space question.
How long does a vapor barrier job take?
It depends on the home.
On many belly jobs the old material comes out one day and the new work goes in the next.
You get the schedule with the estimate.
What happens if you find a plumbing leak?
We show you.
If a leak has to be fixed first, we leave that section open and come back once it is repaired.
We can talk with your plumber too.
Can you help after a hurricane or a flood?
Yes. After Hurricane Milton, we pulled a flooded vapor barrier so the underside could dry.
Then we came back to finish the job.
Are you licensed?
Yes. TLC is on Florida’s list of licensed mobile home installers, license IH 1120596.
It is also a BBB Accredited Business rated A+.
Do you offer discounts?
Yes, for seniors and veterans. Ask when you call (813) 500-1236.
